Railway Stations in Porto

Being one of the major cities of the country as well as one of the most popular travel destinations, scenic Porto is not short of railway stations. Although it can't boast such an impressive number of them as Lisbon does, the city houses two big train stations, welcoming hundreds of travelers every day.
Both of them are serviced by high-speed Alfa Pendular trains, provide excellent facilities, great service, and one of them even houses a beautiful art treasure! In this section, we've gathered some basic information about the stations that you, hopefully, will find useful during your travel.

Campanha Station

Address: Largo da Estacao, 4300-173, Porto, Portugal.

Housed in the impressive 18th-century building, Campanha Railway Station is the only not terminus railway station in Porto. It operates high-speed Alfa Pendular as well as Inter Cidades suburban trains and is conveniently connected to Porto Metro.

Sao Bento Station

Address: Praca Almeida Garrett, 4000-069, Porto, Portugal.
Nestled in the city center of Porto, Sao Bento railway station is a bit younger than Campanha. The main terminus rail station of Porto opened its doors in 1916 and since then became one of the biggest railway hubs in the country.
